Catch that rain!
Rainwater harvesting is the collecting and storing of rainwater. Rainwater collected from the rooftops of buildings or houses, or from specially constructed ground areas can make a very significant contribution to drinking water. Rainwater systems are easily constructed from locally available materials, and roof rainwater does not require treatment before consumption. Household rainfall catchments are appropriate in areas with an average rainfall greater than 200mm per year.
Try rain-harvesting in your home…it’s an economical source of potable water.
